it started right here for this kitchen. as we were building our home, the kitchen became my all consuming focus. in 2006 nobody in our area was painting cabinets, they were sticking with traditional woods – like maple and oak. i wanted a painted furniture piece, a huge island and to mix it with an open knot alder wood. that started it – the designer working on my kitchen asked if i wanted to work for their company designing and selling cabinets; i humbly accepted. that was ten years ago.

i remember selling my first job – the excitement the homeowner felt (the same excitement i had just felt with my kitchen!) the space that’s a necessity. our kitchen can bring joy and comfort when designed properly. the excitement to transform a space that once had no hope started to become my specialty. my remodel clients also became another layer of the service i would provide. the process of designing, laying out, and providing the best materials to create the needs of my clients is what my business is built on. i look for clients who want to not only fill the functional space, but to transform and ease the process of creating the kitchen or bath of their dreams!
